Moving day
arrives. Staff members move into the new home of the State Hygienic Laboratory
on the UI Research Park Campus. Although the new building has approximately the
same square footage of the former Oakdale Hall facility, it is designed with an
open concept that allows scientists to easily collaborate for routine work, and
during environmental and public health emergencies.
