State Hygienic Laboratory Newborn Screening LIMS Upgrade

Beginning for samples recieved at SHL on Tuesday, October 29, 2024

The Newborn Screening section of the State Hygienic Laboratory at the University of Iowa (SHL) is upgrading to a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), OpenELIS, beginning October 29, 2024. The transition to the new LIMS will include significant upgrades to existing SHL tools, including changes to test reports and improved web portal functionalities. In order to prepare users for the new LIMS implementation, SHL will be providing the following:
