Registration opens for Governor's Conference
Registration is open for the 2015 Iowa Governor’s Conference on Public Health to be held April 14 -15 in downtown Cedar Rapids. The Iowa Public Health Association and the Iowa Environmental Health Association are cosponsoring the event entitled “Public Health is on the Move.” The Hygienic Laboratory is one of many organizations sponsoring the conference.
Keynote speakers are Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek H. Murthy; preventive medicine and internal medicine physician Dr. Patrick Luedtke; clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa Dr. Terry Wahls; executive vice president for strategy, policy and market development for CVS Health Mary Langowski; and motivational speaker Michael Kutcher.
